At the New York International Auto Show recently, the Camaro won the 2010 World Car Design of the Year. This is one of the most prestigious automotive awards given out and is meant to highlight new vehicles with innovation and stye that push established boundaries. A design panel consisting of five highly respected world design experts asked to first review each candidate, then establish a shot list of recommended cars for the jurors. The original list consisted of 30 different cars.
The three finalists were the Chevrolet Camaro, the Citroen C3 Picasso, and the Kia Soul.
